Brooklyn Weekend

The past few days have been all about comfort. Comfort food, a comfortable bed and sending wishes to people who make me comfortably happy! I headed to Brooklyn Farmacy & Soda Fountainto divulge in the pure creamy comfort of ice cream and couldn’t have made a better Sunday sundae choice.

The Pecan Crumble Sundae is one of many delicious menu options at the restored 1920s pharmacy in Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn. A root beer float nostalgist’s wonderland, one can linger while mesmerized by the party atmosphere and egg cream galore.

Following the Brooklyn sugar rush, I pulled the trigger on a new bed purchase. After weeks of thought and research, I went with Nature’s Image. A mattress made of soy-based foam and bamboo fiber, it hails from the fields of the Carolina’s and originates from a NASA idea.

The coziness of my bed was excuse enough to catch up on thank you notes to friends and family during this long, lazy, luxurious weekend. I found these cards at my local paperie, Lion in the Sun.

And, that my friends, is some Monday Lovin’ straight from me to you. Cheers for a lovely week ahead.
