Yves Saint Laurent: The Retrospective

by | May 15, 2012 | Style

The ladies and gents living in Denver, or those heading there before July 8th, are the lucky ones. The YSL exhibit currently on display at the Denver Art Museumis a retrospective of the designer’s 40 years of creativity.  Denver is the diamond in the rough as the only place the exhibit can be seen in the United States.

The ensemble offers 45 years of the designer’s life, showcasing 200 outfits and approximately 1,000 accessories. Curated by Florence Müller, she links today’s young designers’ color blocking techniques back to YSL’s innovative treatment of color.

The museum’s restaurant, called Palettes, has even created edible-YSL: a three course Retro-French tasting menu. Enjoy!
